Catch a feed of fresh fish to take home for lunch! The bountiful Sapphire Coast has some of the best inshore and offshore fishing in NSW.​ Snapper, morwong, kingfish, leatherjacket and flathead are all caught in the pristine waters surrounding Merimbula.

We have many years of experience in the local waters and with high-quality gear and well-maintained boats, you can be sure that you’ve opted for the best in the business.

Our charters are operated by local fishermen who have their own keen interest in fishing the incredible waters of the Sapphire Coast, so you know you will have an expert on board to guide you to the best local spots at the right time of year.

Quality fishing rods and reels provided. No fishing licence required. Fish cleaned and bagged for you to take home and enjoy!

About our fishing charters

Our fishing charters operate out of Merimbula from December to July. We offer shared or private charters and cater to all skill levels, from beginners to advanced. All equipment and fishing license included.

Vessel and equipment

This charter is on our 14-metre shallow draft vessel, 'Sensational II’. She is in AMSA survey for 50 people however we fish a maximum of 12 people to ensure you have plenty of space. With three 425hp Yamaha engines we get you out to the fishing grounds in comfort and speed. There is an onboard toilet and a canopy to keep the sun off, however there may be wind and salt spray so bring a weatherproof jacket. We are committed to minimising our impact upon the environment, our engine emissions are extremely low and our fuel burn is also very efficient.

All equipment provided including quality fishing rods and reels.

Fish species

If you are looking for that special variety of table fish, be assured that the Sapphire Coast has them. The local reefs are plentiful all year round with snapper, kingfish, morwong, tiger and sand flathead, trevally, nannygai and leatherjacket, not to mention the many varieties of wrasses and gropers that are a bottom bouncers delight.

The skipper has a variety of reefs to choose from and will take you to the ones that fish best given the weather conditions.

Fishing instructions and assistance
